As a Room Leader you will play a crucial role in promoting high standards within our nursery and supporting staff in their daily duties, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth. The Room Leader will ensure the effective implementation of the Nursery Keyperson Procedures and allocate children to key workers appropriately, whilst adhering to the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage for practice and provision.
You will deploy staff appropriately to ensure standards are consistently met and maintained within the rooms. We would love to hear from you if you are enthusiastic about working with children, have excellent communication skills, and are committed to providing high-quality care.
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ or above in Childcare & Education.
- Experience as a Room Leader/Senior Nursery Practitioner.
- A solid knowledge of the EYFS.
- Impeccable interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with parents/carers and provide relevant feedback about their child's progress.
- Foster open, positive working relationships with all staff members.
- Actively promote the Nursery to current parents and potential customers.
