Role Overview

Are you interested in shaping and providing support to help Herefordshire achieve its growth aspirations? We are an ambitious unitary council with our planning and building control service taking centre stage in promoting the council's spatial priorities for growth. We are making significant investment in our systems and processes and have recently won a national award. An exciting 3-month fixed term opportunity has arisen for a technical officer to work as part of the Technical Support Team for Planning Services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the service area.
  • Deal with the validation and processing of planning and associated applications in line with Town and Country Planning Legislation and audited procedures.
  • Support the transformational change within the service.

Qualifications

  • Experience of Civica.
  • Experience in validation work is essential.
