Salary: Up to £28-£30k per annum depending on age and experience

Main responsibilities
- Deliver structured and flexible sessions for young people referred to the STARTS programme, either 2:1, 1:1 or in small groups.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people, often facing complex or challenging circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and external professionals to provide consistent and joined-up support.
- Support transitions into or between educational settings, acting as a bridge and advocate for the young person.
- Provide tailored support to children with ADHD and other behavioural challenges, creating strategies to manage their behaviours and help them develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Use positive reinforcement, de-escalation techniques, and consistent boundaries to manage challenging behaviours and help children stay engaged in learning and activities.
- Track each child’s progress and work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that strategies and goals are aligned.
- Respond calmly and appropriately in moments of crisis, using approved techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of the child and others.
Who we are looking for
- Strong communication and relationship skills

- Flexible to work across different sites and settings
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Confident communicating with children, parents and carers, schools and local authorities
- Experience with children or young people in coaching, education, youth work or care
- Sports coaching or creative activity delivery
- Relevant qualifications in education, sports coaching, youth work or childcare (or willingness to train)
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- Knowledge of trauma informed or therapeutic approaches

Interview Process
- Stage 1: Successful applicants will be contacted for a screening interview
- Stage 2: In person interview with at least two of the All Kids Can Team. Relevant checks and references will be collected.
- Stage 3: Observed trial session at a relevant session
- Stage 4: Successful applicants will be provided with a job offer letter and start date agreed.
