As a PPC Lead you’ll report into the Biddable Media Manager and will have day-to-day management and operational ownership of a roster of PPC accounts. Setting up accounts, bid management, optimisation, reporting and strategy will all fall within your remit, as will research, testing and being a key point of contact for the client. You will also be responsible for helping to train and mentor new members of staff and ensuring that the team as a whole stays ahead of the curve in an ever-changing industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategy – Management and operational ownership of a roster of PPC accounts
  • Making strategic recommendations on improving client performance
  • Creation of testing strategies and plans
  • Presenting strategic approaches to campaigns
  • Account reviews identifying opportunities
  • Planning & forecasting (modelling)
  • Operational – Key client contact via phone calls and meetings
  • Creation of client-facing and internal reports and adding commentary and insights
  • Day-to-day bid management and optimisation of campaigns
  • Ad copy and landing page testing
  • Campaign and account builds and restructures
  • Keyword research
  • Ad copy creation
  • Ongoing testing and reporting
  • May also be required to manage other biddable media channels such as display (programmatic and GDN), social media, VOD
  • Internal – Some involvement with sales/new business when required
  • Regular R&D
  • Liaising with internal teams
  • Assisting with training & mentoring of junior staff
  • Other ad hoc campaign tasks as and when required

What you’ll need:

  • 2 + years’ experience working in a biddable media environment, managing large-scale, complex, results-driven projects with significant budgets, preferably within an agency environment
  • The ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Working knowledge of Marin, Kenshoo and Doubleclick would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge across multiple biddable media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Retargeting, would be advantageous
  • Robust numerical and data analysis skills, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrable passion for all things digital – keeping abreast of key industry trends and a hunger for innovation
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with strong project management skills
  • Highly proficient user of MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Flexibility to support the demands of the agency and our clients
