All Hallows Catholic School and Sixth Form College is a prestigious educational institution located in Farnham, Surrey. We are seeking a Science Teacher specialising in Chemistry to join our dedicated team of educators. This is a permanent role, available as full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 to 5 as required, with opportunity to teach across all three Key Stages for suitable candidates.
- Plan and teach interesting and purposeful lessons that help students achieve their best.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community.
- Engage in curriculum delivery aligned with school resources and schemes of work.
Qualifications
- A degree in Chemistry or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards obtaining QTS
- Passion for teaching and nurturing young minds
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students effectively
School Context and Resources
Our team currently consists of nine full-time teachers and four part-time teachers, supported by four technicians and a link HLTA. We have eight full-size teaching labs and two smaller labs in the main school, and two full-size Sixth Form teaching labs.
Key Stage 3: three science lessons per week in Years 7 and 8, increasing to four in Year 9. We follow the Pearson Exploring Science scheme, fully resourced with differentiated materials, an online textbook for all students and opportunities for multimedia activities.
Key Stage 4: all students follow the AQA Science GCSE course (Science: Trilogy, with some studying Triple Science). The course is resourced with support materials and an online textbook via Kerboodle, and students have separate teachers for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
We have a long tradition of A-Level teaching in the department and offer A-Levels in the three Sciences, with opportunities to teach across all three Key Stages.
