An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sales Controller to join our growing team at BYD Kidderminster.

As BYD continues to grow rapidly across the UK, we're looking for an ambitious and motivated sales professional who can play a key role in both selling and managing our sales department.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you'll help maximise every sales opportunity, achieve departmental targets and ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience throughout their journey with us.

The Role

As a Sales Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Maximising every sales opportunity and supporting the department in achieving its targets.
• Leading by example and actively contributing to vehicle sales.
• Driving strong F&I performance across the sales department.
• Supporting the sales team to achieve their individual and departmental targets.
• Identifying opportunities to maximise sales and F&I performance.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.
• Building strong and lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Supporting and motivating the sales team to maintain high standards of performance.
• Taking responsibility for managing the sales department when the Sales Manager is absent.
• Helping to maintain a positive, professional and motivated sales environment.
• Working closely with the Sales Manager and wider dealership team to achieve business objectives.
• Ensuring all sales activity is carried out professionally and in line with company and manufacturer standards.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced and ambitious sales professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has the drive to achieve excellent results.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in an automotive sales environment.
• Experience in a Sales Controller or senior sales position would be advantageous.
• A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Good knowledge and understanding of F&I processes and performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• A positive, professional and results-driven attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

We're looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded and able to lead by example while supporting the wider sales team.
