The role entails trunking from UK wide depots to client hubs with occasional collections. Our client will be busy for the remainder of this year with the build- up to Christmas peak. Weekly shift volumes will fluctuate due to the nature of our clients business, so flexibility to work between 1-6 shifts weekly would be beneficial. There are temp to perm opportunities available. Your Responsibilities Your role as a HGV Class 1 driver involves many responsibilities aside from the safe driving of company vehicles. These include: Ensuring all relevant policies are adhered to Completing pre-departure vehicle checks Transporting goods between planned sites and drops Ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety requirements Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude About You We would love to hear from candidates who have experience of working in a similar HGV Class 1 driver role.
