About The Role

We are seeking reliable and proficient HGV Class 1 drivers to work from the Cardiff area to assist our national client. The role entails trunking from UK wide depots to client hubs with occasional collections. Our client will be busy for the remainder of this year with summer holiday cover and the build-up to Christmas peak. Weekly shift volumes will fluctuate due to the nature of our clients business, so flexibility to work between 1-6 shifts weekly would be beneficial. There are temp to perm opportunities available.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all relevant policies are adhered to
  • Completing pre-departure vehicle checks
  • Transporting goods between planned sites and drops
  • Ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety requirements
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude

About You

We would love to hear from candidates who have experience of working in a similar HGV Class 1 driver role. You will need:

  • Valid CE licence, Digi card and CPC
  • 12 months Class 1 driving experience essential
