We are looking for an Extra Care Supervisor to join our teams in Windmill Place, Thame and Potters/Frys Court, Oxford.

37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Plus the on-call rota. This is a dual-site role, with two days a week in Potters Court in Oxford and three days a week in Windmill Place, Thame.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in the care sector. For this role, you must be experienced within the care sector and hold or be happy to work towards NVQ level 2. Drivers License with access to own vehicle essential.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Signing up new clients and liaising with Social Services and/or family members
  • Completing client reviews and ensuring our service is running smoothly
  • Creating and maintaining person centred care plans
  • Carry out risk assessments within the service user’s home
  • Communicate with our care staff regarding our clients’ needs and if any changes occur
  • Completing spot checks and face to face supervisions with our care staff and ensuring all concerns, if any, are reported to the Registered Manager
  • Compliance sign off / medication competencies for new care staff
