As a Live-In Carer with Allcare, you will provide an individualised package of care to support and enable our Service User to maintain their independence and enjoyment of being in their own home. The care we deliver varies depending on individual need, but is always expected to be of the highest standard. What we are looking for:
- Due to popular demand, we are recruiting for experienced carers to work on the Isle of Wight on a Full-time Live-in basis but can offer flexibility with a 3 week on / 1 week off pattern if preferred.
- Kind, caring and compassionate.
- Good level of English.
- Driver preferred but not essential.
As a Live-in Carer, your tasks will include:
- Assisting our service users in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support
- Assisting with personal care
- Supporting and encouraging our service users to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care
- Recording and reporting daily visit information
- To be there for all those little moments as you live side-by-side with your service user in their home.
