About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Spinnaker View, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live independently while receiving the care they need. You will work as part of a dedicated on-site team delivering both planned care and emergency response support. No two days are the same, and your role will involve building meaningful relationships while promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care with dignity and respect
  • Support residents with medication, mobility, and daily routines
  • Assist with meal preparation and nutrition
  • Promote independence and wellbeing using a person-centred approach
  • Carry out welfare checks and respond to emergency calls
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Follow health & safety procedures, including moving and handling
  • Work as part of a team to deliver safe, effective care

These responsibilities reflect standard Extra Care duties, including supporting independence and delivering personalised care in a supported living environment.
