Care Assistant – competitive pay, flexible hours.Location: Across Isle of Wight, Cowes, Newport and Freshwater.Hourly wage: £13.43 on week‑days, £13.93 on weekends, with block‑paid rates. Additional pay for unsociable hours and double‑time on public holidays.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide person‑centred care to older adults across the Freshwater area, helping them regain independence in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Personal care
- Meal preparation and basic cooking
- Light household tasks
- Food shopping
- Companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Self‑propelled, reliable, compassionate, and eager to start a rewarding career in care (no prior experience required – full training provided)
- Drivers must hold a full UK licence, own a vehicle and have business insurance for block‑paid roles; non‑drivers may apply for hourly paid positions
- Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship currently offered
- Ability to work AM/PM shifts and alternate weekends
- Good English communication skills
- Willingness to perform outside‑hour and weekend duties if required
