About the Role
As a 1:1 Waking Night Care Assistant at Lion Oak Court, you will provide dedicated, one-to-one support to an individual resident throughout the night. This role focuses on ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing by delivering personalised care and continuous support. You will play an essential role in maintaining a calm and reassuring environment, responding to needs promptly, and building a trusting relationship with the resident you support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 care and support throughout the night
- Carry out regular monitoring and welfare checks
- Support with personal care, toileting, and repositioning
- Respond promptly to any needs or emergencies
- Assist with medication where required
- Provide reassurance and emotional support
- Maintain accurate records and complete night reports
- Follow health & safety procedures, including moving and handling
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure safe, consistent care
These responsibilities reflect standard 1:1 Extra Care night duties, delivering personalised support in a safe and supported living environment.
