Overview
We are a CQC-compliant care provider seeking experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing while delivering person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment where required and following moving & handling guidelines
- Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policy
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required
- Carry out light domestic duties including cleaning, hoovering, and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and social isolation
- Assist with shopping, appointments, and essential errands
- Maintain accurate, timely care records in line with CQC standards
- Report any changes in a client\\\’s health or wellbeing to the appropriate supervisor
- Always respect clients\\\’ dignity, privacy, choices, and independence
Requirements
- Previous care experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle required (travelling between care calls is essential)
- Good communication and time-management skills
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
- Commitment to delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care
