Role Overview
Join our award-winning care team in Brighton! We have ongoing opportunities for male and female carers to provide person-centred home care, supporting clients with personal care, medication, mobility, meal preparation and companionship. Same hours each day are encouraged for continuity, but we can often accommodate flexibility.
What You’ll Do
- Personal care (washing, dressing, continence) with dignity and respect
- Medication prompts and accurate record-keeping
- Meal preparation and hydration support
- Moving & handling (training provided)
- Companionship and wellbeing checks
- Electronic care records, safeguarding and escalation
Requirements
- Caring, reliable and professional communicator
- Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)
- Enhanced DBS (we guide you through the process)
- Drivers and non-drivers welcome; most routes are walking
- Free bus pass or 40p per mile mileage allowance
- For some packages, male or female carers are required to maintain client dignity and safety (genuine occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)
- Paid training, PPE and ongoing support
- Flexible contracts (FT/PT) and continuity-focused scheduling
