An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, skilled CNC machinist to join our team at All British Precision. ABP is an ambitious and continuously improving company with a rich history of success. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes DMG Mori and Star GB sliding head machines, multi-axis, twin spindle turning centres, 3-5 axis milling, and the latest advancements in automation.

We are looking for CNC Machinists who bring unwavering professionalism and meticulous accuracy. A critical success factor for innovative and precise manufacturing is the ability to maximise the performance of the machinery and its automation technology. If you are a dynamic individual with a precision for detail, an eye for improvement and a proven track record in milling and/or turning, this could be an exciting role for you.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Set and operate Multi-Spindle, live tooled lathes or 3 to 5 axis Milling Machines.
  • Read and Edit Fanuc ISO &/or Seimens (Using shopMill/Turn).
  • Demonstrate proficiency of cutting carbon steels, Stainless Steels, Aluminium and Plastics.
  • Self-regulated in both quality and output.
  • Have experience of one or more of the following machines:
  • DMG Mori NLX2500/700SY
  • DMG Mori CLX450TC
  • DMG Mori DMU75 or 65 MonoBlock
  • DMG Mori NMV300
  • Star Sliding Head SR32J, SR20J, ST38
  • HAAS VF4
  • Jones & Shipmen Suprema Cylindrical Grinding Machine
Personal Specification:
  • Team player and self-motivated.
  • Able to work early and late shift patterns.
  • Willingness to learn and improve both yourself and the company.
Shift Patterns:
  • Wk1 Mornings: 06:00 - 14:15 Mon to Thurs & 06:00 - 13:00 Fri
  • Wk2 Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:30 Mon to Thurs & 12:00-18:00 Fri
