We are seeking to recruit people to join our fast growing experienced and dedicated care team providing care and support in Lytham, St Anne's, Ansdell, Warton, Kirkham.

We would like to hear from you if you are any of the following:

  • An experienced Carer, whether it be from paid or personal experience and are interested in a rewarding career in social care.
  • Available full or part-time, daytime, evening, nights or weekends between 07:00hrs and 22:00hrs. We are flexible in the hours we have to offer but you do need a commitment to work a minimum of one evening per week and alternate weekends.
  • Are you a car owner or have your own transport such as a bicycle?

Can you provide a high-quality service that respects people's dignity and choice by reading and following a personalised care plan that may include tasks such as:

  • Assisting service users with getting up in the morning, washing/bathing and dressing.
  • Helping with undressing and getting to bed in the evening (includes washing hair, feet and teeth, etc).
  • Making healthy balanced meals, drinks and snacks where necessary.
  • Checking dates on foods and ensuring meal prep areas, fridges, and cookers are always kept clean.
  • Providing assistance with toileting and with changing clothes and/or bedding where necessary.
  • Emptying and cleansing commodes, washing and ironing clothes and bed linen which may be soiled by incontinence.
  • Providing assistance with other tasks of daily living that the person cannot manage, this may include cleaning, shopping and the collection of pensions and the paying of bills, and completing expenditure sheets for all financial transactions, collecting receipts.
  • Reporting to the manager any significant changes in the health and circumstances of the service user.
  • Encouraging service users to maintain independence appropriate to their ability.
  • Effectively working within the company's health and safety policy.
  • Ensuring the principles and practices of infection control are adhered to throughout the workplace.
  • Logging in and out of service users' homes.
  • Supporting with medication administration and completing the medication and daily record sheets accurately.
