What You'll Do

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute employee engagement initiatives that strengthen company culture, increase connection, and create meaningful experiences for employees, including events, SWAG ordering, milestone celebrations, happy hours, recognition initiatives, and other employee-focused activations.
  • Oversee ALKU’s Giving Back programs, initiatives, and management of ALKU’s corporate giving budget, including the volunteer time off (VTO) program, charitable giving, fundraising events, community partnerships, and more.
  • Partner closely with the Events Coordinator and other internal teams to plan and execute employee events and provide support for larger company-wide events and initiatives as needed.
  • Create meaningful opportunities for ALKU employees to connect, celebrate, and give back by leading employee recognition programs, community engagement initiatives, and creative efforts that recognize employees, company milestones, and organizational achievements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with ALKU’s nonprofit partners while researching and identifying new organizations and opportunities that align with ALKU’s community engagement goals.
  • Bring forward new and creative ideas for employee engagement, culture-building, recognition, and community involvement while tracking participation and engagement to identify opportunities to continuously improve future initiatives.

Required

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow projects from idea through execution.
  • Creative thinker who can identify new opportunities to engage employees and strengthen company culture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, internal stakeholders, vendors, and community partners.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • 0-2 years event-planning experience
