We are an ISO 9001:2015 accredited manufacturing business situated in Birch Vale, High Peak; with an excellent reputation for quality, service, and on-time delivery.
The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, streamline production processes, manage resources efficiently, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities include:- Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures
- Maintaining safety standards
- Troubleshooting production challenges
- Collaborating with various departments to meet project timelines and customer requirements
- Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
- Formal management or leadership qualification desirable
- Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely) desirable
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a production or manufacturing management role
- Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, and operational KPIs
