The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.

Responsible for the manufacture of all sewing processes within the manufacturing area, following correct standard work procedures while ensuring safety procedures are adhered to.

Equipment

  • Flat machine (single & twin needle)
  • Superlocking/overlocking machines
  • Post machines

Outline of Operations

  • Manufacture of all aspects of sewing according to correct procedures
  • Ensure machines are maintained
  • Record count per hour using the correct count sheet and takt time set by team leader
  • Complete all documentation accurately with the correct data
  • Understand and comply with Company Quality procedures, manufacturing to the correct specifications using WIPPS, QMS, Customer Drawings, and item codes
  • Report all Quality issues immediately and escalate resolved issues using the quality stop work procedure
  • Maintain housekeeping standards with end-of-shift clean downs
  • Carry out pre-shift task risk assessments
  • Report and load hours onto Workday by the end of the week
  • Adhere to all company Safety procedures to ensure safe working for everyone on site
  • Follow the safety stop work process
  • Participate in team briefings
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct
  • Complete training programs on Workday

Job Flexibility

  • Work in other departments as necessary
  • Cover holidays in other production areas if trained

Health and Safety

  • Understand and comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy
  • Follow Stop Work, PTRA’s, Gemba, and Safety Observations
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety alerts, and learnings from incidents, adhering to all safe working procedures
  • Wear personal protective equipment correctly, which will be provided
