Job Requirements:
The Industrial Filtration Sales Engineer has responsibility for all commercial and sales activities for Industrial Filtrations roll goods and filter bag sales. Drive all sales activities that uphold strong customer relations and meet or exceed annual business plans.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable of entire product portfolio and display technical expertise regarding their limitations and applications.
- Provide technical support, working directly with customers to understand specific technical requirements, installation issues, and ultimately recommend appropriate products that meet their needs.
- Create detailed bid proposals and formal quotations.
- Maintain a keen understanding of the business and competitive environment.
- Maintain effective communication to build relationships with customers.
- Provide product samples according to customer needs.
- Develop presentation materials for educating customers on the use of materials and products.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to facilitate the fabrication of non-standard products and coordinate project production schedule in timely manner.
- Assist with the development of product information and application case studies for marketing and sales teams.
- Collaborate in a team approach with employees across multiple functions and departments including Customer Service, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, New Product Development, and R&D.
- Prepare annual sales budget by territory and provide monthly forecasts.
- Track all open opportunities in EMEA using CRM.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- B.S. degree or greater from an accredited college or university in Engineering or a related field, preferably in materials science or chemistry.
- 2-5 Years Direct Sales Experience in Industrial Filtration or Technical Textiles
- Self-motivated, competence in personal time and strong project management skills are expected.
- Experience with CRM (Sales Force or MS Dynamics)
- Proven technical and critical thinking skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service and sales skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
