Join ALKEGEN as a Finance Assistant in Rawtenstall, a key role supporting accurate, timely reporting and day‑to‑day accounting support for the production facility.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of payment runs for approval.
- Investigate and post AP invoices or credit notes as required, supporting a centralised AP function offshore.
- Support and post AR invoices or credit notes as required, working with the Sales team on‑site and a centralised AR function offshore.
- Monitor shared finance email inboxes and ensure replies are done in a timely manner.
- Raise and maintain PO orders in SAP and receive them as they are completed, to support a centralised AP function offshore.
- Support the Finance department with month‑end tasks such as reconciliation of AP & AR balances and inputting required manually stock adjustments.
- Ensure the SAP ERP system is up to date with new customer and supplier setup applications.
- Perform other ad‑hoc duties when required and directed by the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Comfortable IT user with excel skills, Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Self‑motivated and deadline‑oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – effectively engaging with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP B1 or other ERP system within a manufacturing/engineering environment desirable.
- Respectful, approachable and team‑oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills.
