Location: Rainford, WA118LP
Work Schedule: Requires in-office attendance four days per week Monday-Thursday, with Friday designated as work-from-home. The role will require regular travel between sites, anticipated to be approximately four times per month.
Responsibilities:
- Based primarily at the Rainford site but working across several locations, you will be part of the larger Alkegen IT team providing desktop and networking support at various levels.
- You will take first line ownership responding to and resolving issues across multiple locations.
- This role will assist in the deployment and support of all IT Infrastructure and Operations initiatives.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Higher education qualification (e.g., Associate degree), completed apprenticeship, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking within a multi-site environment.
- Broad expertise across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking (DNS, DHCP, routing), firewalls, cloud platforms, and backup solutions.
- Experience configuring and deploying network switches, access points, is desirable.
- Strong self-management, organisation, and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to provide timely support and clearly communicate with non-technical users.
- Adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Valid driving licence.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable but not essential.
