The Shift QC Analyst will be responsible for the testing of raw materials, intermediate and finished product. Classification of product and transfer to Finished Goods. It is anticipated that this position has potential for growth through participation on multi-disciplinary teams and improvement projects. The QC Shift Analyst will report to the Quality Improvement Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain company Safety Standards. Proactively improve SHE awareness including COSHH and Risk Assessment. Hazard reporting and elimination.
  • Performance of all assigned Quality Control Testing using approved methods and work instructions.
  • Classification of product against customer specification and transfer to FG.
  • Qualification and validation of testing protocols.
  • Maintenance and operation of QC Laboratory equipment with ISO9001 Compliance.
  • Writing and revision of documentation of Quality Control procedures in accordance with ISO9001 standards, with the approval of Quality Improvement Manager.
  • Performance of data entry and trend analysis, reporting abnormal trends.
  • Efficient and effective communication of results to plant production team.
  • Technical support of plant operation e.g. HCl testing and reporting.
  • Root cause analysis of failed or suspect materials.
  • Undertake laboratory investigations and prepare reports of findings.
  • To deliver training assistance as required.
Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSE at level 3 in Maths and English or equivalent; knowledge of product testing or laboratory practices would be advantageous; experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Computer skills in Microsoft Office are required as a minimum.
