AliveDx are recruiting for a Production Operator to join our Manufacturing team based near Edinburgh (Milton Bridge, EH26 0BF). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have gained experience in the workplace and are now seeking a secure and progressive career path in the Life Sciences industry, with no degree requirement. The role is permanent, working full-time at 37.5 hours per week, on a 3 weekly rotating shift pattern of 0600-1400, 0930-1730, 1400-2200.

YOUR MISSION

  • Ensuring manufacture of high-quality diagnostic reagents in line with the relevant specifications and to agreed schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate and legible records (including TROPOS system transactions) to ensure relevant laboratory documentation is kept in satisfactory condition.
  • Maintaining equipment in accordance with agreed procedures, ensuring equipment is operating correctly.
  • Maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with GMP standards and relevant Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Filling, labelling and packing of product according to specifications and schedule, ensuring sufficient availability of consumables and labels.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities including the review and updating of procedures and SOPs.
  • Ensure awareness of COSH/Risk Assessments.
  • Participate in continuous training activities in accordance with a personal development plan along with supporting the training of less experienced colleagues.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Standard Grade/ National 4/5 or equivalent Mathematics and English.
  • Experience within a GMP Laboratory environment is desirable but not a requirement.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and other IT systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication with ability to actively participate in meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedure.
  • A customer focused mindset with ability to take accountability, demonstrate integrity and drive results.
  • Ability to participate in overtime activities as required.
