A*live is a creative brand experience agency based in North London. We design and produce events that genuinely align people behind strategy and brand. Our work spans large-scale B2B conferences, corporate events, product launches, leadership forums, and live experiential activations, for clients who expect ideas and execution to be equally strong. Our client portfolio includes Amazon, Amdocs, TikTok, monday.com, TM Forum, and William Grant and Sons. The work is ambitious. The team is small and senior. The standard is high.

The Role

This is a peer-level appointment. The Executive Producer joins the leadership of the agency alongside the MD and Managing Partner, operating with genuine latitude across the full scope of project leadership. You will own projects end to end, from the moment a brief lands to the moment the lights go down. Through that project ownership you will build deep client relationships over time, becoming the person clients trust most and return to. The relationship is a consequence of the work, not a given from day one.

Your primary delivery focus will be our larger B2B portfolio, working across high-stakes corporate events and conferences for clients including Amazon, Amdocs, TikTok, monday.com, and TM Forum. At a strategic level you will have visibility across all agency accounts, including our live experiential work with William Grant and Sons.

On decisions with significant creative, commercial, or client relationship implications, you will bring in the MD and Managing Partner. That is not a constraint on your authority. It is how a high-trust senior leadership operates, and it is the model on which this role is built.

PROJECT LEADERSHIP

  • Own the full project lifecycle across complex, multi-workstream live events, from brief through to delivery and debrief.
  • Lead and direct internal and external project teams, setting clear briefs, expectations, and deadlines.
  • Provide senior leadership on site, acting as the production authority when it matters most.
  • Maintain deep working knowledge across venue management, technical production, build, logistics, F&B, and registration.
  • Identify risk early and resolve it before it becomes visible to the client.

CLIENT DEVELOPMENT

  • You will not inherit established client relationships on day one. You will earn them through the quality of the work and the trust that project delivery builds over time.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact on projects, building confidence and credibility with clients through every interaction.
  • Lead client meetings with clarity and purpose, keeping clients informed and well served at every stage.
  • Anticipate client needs before they are expressed and bring solutions proactively.
  • Lead post-project debriefs, collect meaningful feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and develop new project opportunities within client relationships as they mature.

CREATIVE AND STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

  • Lead the agency response to a brief from discovery and ideation through to proposal, production, and delivery.
  • Bring genuine creative judgment to every project: not just the ability to manage a creative process, but the conviction to shape it.
  • Ensure all work is strategically aligned with client brand goals, audience engagement objectives, and business outcomes.
  • Hold creative integrity across the project lifecycle, knowing when to push back on a brief and when to adapt.
  • Represent A*live in pitch situations, either leading your area of specialism or leading the pitch itself.

COMMERCIAL LEADERSHIP

  • Take full ownership of project budgets from initial scoping through to final reconciliation.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and freelancers to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Manage client contracting processes including MSAs, SOWs, and purchase orders.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure projects are invoiced and paid on agreed timelines.
  • Report on revenue, margin, and overhead performance with clarity and regularity.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, insurance, sustainability, and safety requirements across all projects.

AGENCY LEADERSHIP

  • Provide mentorship and day-to-day guidance to project team members.
  • Champion agency processes, tools, and standards, including Monday.com.
  • Build strong, productive relationships with suppliers, partners, and the wider industry.
  • Contribute actively to new business activity, including pitching and proposal development.
  • Represent A*live externally with credibility, authority, and commercial awareness.

  • A strong track record delivering complex, high-value B2B corporate events and conferences end to end.
  • Genuine creative sensibility: not just the ability to manage a creative process, but to shape it with conviction.
  • Commercial sharpness across budgets, margins, supplier negotiation, and financial reporting.
  • The instinct to read a client situation and know what it needs before being asked.
  • The credibility to lead any room, whether that is a pitch, a client meeting, or a site briefing.
  • The self-awareness to know when a decision warrants a conversation with senior leadership and when it does not.
  • A direct, clear communication style that builds confidence in the people around you.
  • Experience in live experiential or brand activation is an advantage alongside B2B conference delivery.
