We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated Entertainment Booking Agent to join our team on a 10-month maternity cover contract. This is a fast-paced inbound sales role, where you’ll help customers find and book the perfect entertainment for their events. Most enquiries come directly from our website, meaning customers have already expressed interest in hiring live entertainment.
You’ll be responsible for managing each enquiry from start to finish - advising customers on the best entertainment options, coordinating with artists, sending quotes, following up enquiries and converting interest into confirmed bookings. Alongside working with private clients such as wedding couples and party organisers, you’ll also work with corporate event planners, hospitality venues, universities, tourism organisations and the armed forces, building strong relationships that can lead to repeat business.
Success in the role relies on excellent communication skills, strong organisation, and the ability to handle a high volume of enquiries efficiently while maintaining a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer enquiries received via phone, email and our website
- Advise clients on suitable entertainment options for their event
- Contact artists to check availability and obtain quotes
- Prepare and send tailored quotes and promotional materials to clients
- Follow up enquiries and guide customers towards booking
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Manage all administration relating to bookings including contracts, invoicing and correspondence using our CRM system
- Coordinate between clients and artists to ensure all event details are clear
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries and bookings within the CRM system
- Develop strong relationships with key business clients to encourage repeat bookings
- Build positive relationships with artists on our roster
- Identify opportunities to source and recruit new artists where needed
- Work efficiently across multiple enquiries while maintaining high standards of communication and organisation
- Represent Alive Network professionally and positively in all communications
