Alison Gray are seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Operative to join our client's team. In this role, you will assist in the collection, sorting, and processing of hazardous waste materials. You will also support our drivers in the safe transportation of these materials to designated recycling facilities.
Location: Antrim
Hourly Rate: Under 21's £12 per hour, over 21's £12.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 4pm
Duties:
- Assist in the collection and sorting of hazardous waste materials.
- Support drivers in loading and unloading hazardous waste.
- Ensure all materials are handled and processed in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised yard.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- MUST have a driver's licence
- Forklift licence is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a team and take and follow instruction
- Ability to complete manual labour tasks
- Waste Management experience or knowledge desirable
