We currently working with our client who have a requirement for a vacancy for a permanent full time Mechanical Vehicle Appraiser. The role will be across both Mallusk and Portadown locations in Northern Ireland.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am 4.30pm (30 min lunch)
Payrate: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience)
Duties will include but not be restricted to the following:
- Inspecting vehicles prior auction.
- Mechanical Diagnosis of vehicles.
- Identify mechanical faults, wear, damage, or failures.
- Evaluate impact of mechanical issues on resale value.
- Conduct road tests.
- Complete repairs, or schedule with local workshops.
Knowledge of vehicle inspection process / body shop experience
Ability to deal with corporate clients.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good IT skills.
- Able to work under own initiative.
- Hard working and reliable.
- A flexible attitude to working hours.
Essential Criteria:
- Mechanical Experience Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with the right experience.
- Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
On completion of a successful 6 months probationary period the successful applicant will receive full NAMA training.
