Health and Safety Officer

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Health & Safety Officer to join their growing team in Belfast. Your New Day to Day: You will work within the HR + H&S department primarily in Belfast assuming responsibility for health and safety across all sites. Maintain and update relevant health and safety records, i.e. risk assessments, safe systems of work, and site audits. Support the business in maintaining ISO9001 & ISO14001 accreditation at three sites. Assist with accident and near miss investigations, and agree corrective actions. Source, distribute, and manage PPE across all sites. What You Can Bring: Have a relevant health and safety qualification such as (NEBOSH). Experience of (QEHS) management systems would be advantageous. Ideally, up to 12-18 months relevant work experience. Experience of completing risk assessments within a heavy plant industry. Hold a valid clean driving license.
