Our client, based in East Belfast, is seeking General Operatives for temp-perm vacancies.

These roles will involve a number of duties such as packing, operating a pile turner and general trucking.
Location: Castlereagh Hourly Rate:£12.27 Shift Pattern: Monday
– Thursday 7am
– 3pm & Friday 7am
– 11am Main tasks of Job: Identify orders for processing Feeding product into machines ensuring optimum speeds are maintained Packing product into outers or onto pallets and ensuring correct identification of work Operating line clearance Inspection of product according to customer and company standards, ensuring the status of the work is clearly identified Preparing product for the machines by removing board waste from around cartons and discarding the waste appropriately Completion of relevant documentation including Pallet Identification Labels Disposing of waste in accordance with stipulated waste streams ensuring that any hazardous waste generated is clearly labelled and stored in suitable bund containment.
Essential Requirements: Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment Methodical approach with the ability to work on own initiative Good communication skills Willingness to work overtime and shifts if required Desirable Requirements GCSE passes in English and Maths or equivalent Previous experience within the printed packaging industry Please forward your CV for consideration.
