Alison Gray Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established company for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join their growing team in East Belfast!
Pay: £17.53 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:40pm, flexibility required
Your New Day to Day:
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate the components team to achieve daily operational targets.
- Monitor team performance and conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control, including cycle counts and stock takes.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring correct storage, labelling, and stock rotation.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of components to support production.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse while ensuring accurate inventory movements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support the implementation of warehouse best practices.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture by ensuring safe material handling, reporting hazards, and complying with all relevant regulations.
What You Can Bring:
- Experience using SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Experience leading or supervising a warehouse or stores team.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
