Alison Gray Recruitment are delighted to be hiring for a Waste Management Supervisor to join one of Northern Ireland's leading waste management companies.
Pay: £14 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 4pm
Duties:
- Ensuring site housekeeping
- Interacting with client and adhering to all their site rules
- Loading of all vehicles for onward disposal, including skip receptacles and trailers
- Sorting waste materials for bailing / compacting
- Operation of forklift truck
- Preparation for service operations and collections
- Booking skip and waste collections from the site with McQuillan Operations office
- As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the post holder
- The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager/s
- The post holder will actively follow McQuillan Company policies including Equal Opportunities policies
- The post holder will maintain an awareness and observation of Fire and Health & Safety Regulations
Requirements:
- Forklift Licence
- 2 years experience in an industrial setting are essential
- Ability to work in a team and take and follow instruction
- Ability to complete manual labour tasks with mechanical aids as appropriate
- Basic chemical knowledge in terms of qualification or experience in handling solvents and adhesives
- Waste experience or knowledge desirable
- Working knowledge of ISO and 18001 desirable
- A full clean driving licence
