ALink Recruitment is working with a London based engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to assess subsidence, cracking and associated structural defects across residential and commercial properties. The projects will primarily involve period buildings, particularly Victorian and Georgian properties throughout London. This is a flexible opportunity that can be structured on a permanent, contract or part-time basis. You may work fully remotely between site visits or from the consultancy’s London office, depending on your preference. The Role You will be responsible for inspecting approximately 8–10 properties each week, assessing the cause and significance of visible cracking, movement and suspected subsidence, and producing clear technical reports setting out your findings and recommendations.
