The hotel is entering a significant period of investment and transformation, with its restaurant and wider food offering being reimagined. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll have genuine influence over the development of the restaurant concept, its food identity and the direction it takes. It’s an opportunity to bring ideas to the table, challenge convention and help create a restaurant that capitalises on its Liverpool location and gives people a reason to visit regardless of whether they are staying at the hotel. Help shape the restaurant concept and overall food direction Develop a distinctive, contemporary food identity Create menus that balance creativity, flavour, quality and commercial performance Bring fresh ideas and an outside-the-box approach to the operation Help establish the restaurant as a destination in its own right Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen brigade Take ownership of food cost, labour, margins and kitchen performance Work collaboratively across the wider F&B and hotel operation Play an integral role in the refurbishment, repositioning and relaunch of the restaurant You’re interested in what’s happening in restaurants, concepts and food culture. You could already be an established Head Chef, or you may be a strong senior chef ready for greater ownership and the opportunity to put your stamp on something. Your background could come from hotels, restaurants or another quality, high-volume hospitality environment. What matters is your ability to bring together food, creativity, people and commercial performance.
