Alinea Talent is exclusively partnering with an established privately owned hospitality group on the appointment of a General Manager for a significant destination hotel in the North of England. This is a complex, multi-revenue-stream operation with strong foundations, a distinctive guest proposition and significant opportunity ahead. We are looking for a candidate based in the Lake District or willing to relocate to their own accommodation with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a 4 star full service hotel with spa. An experienced hotel leader who can take ownership of the operation, build on its existing strengths and bring together people, guest experience and commercial performance. Someone who understands that exceptional hotels aren't created from behind a desk. They're built through visible leadership, strong teams, commercial curiosity and an obsession with the details that guests remember. The Opportunity Reporting into senior group leadership, the General Manager will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the hotel, leading the senior management team, Heads of Department and wider operation. The role carries accountability across the full hotel operation, including rooms, food it's actively influencing how the experience evolves. Revenue opportunities are being identified and pursued across the business. Standards are consistent. Talent is developing. Accountability is clear.
