Role Overview
A Care Support Worker based in Hove will provide essential support to clients in the local community.
The role involves traveling around Hove and surrounding areas to deliver personalized care and assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Companionship – interact and engage with clients to keep them happy
- Personal hygiene support – assist with washing, dressing and general personal care
- Medication support – remind clients to take medication and collect prescriptions
- Meal preparation – help with mealtimes and meal preparation as needed
- Housework – manage laundry, cleaning and tidying
- Errands – run shopping and other errands on behalf of clients
- Mobility assistance – help clients get around and move safely
Qualifications & Requirements
- Positive and caring attitude
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Good organisational and verbal communication skills (preferred)
- Training
Previous experience or professional qualifications are not required. All candidates will receive comprehensive training through the Alina Homecare Academy before starting work.
Working Patterns
Flexible – full‑time or part‑time contracts, guaranteed hours available.
Pay & Perks
Competitive hourly rate up to £16.05, with additional pay on bank holidays. Joining bonus of £500 and exclusive paid training available.
