Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, The Marketing Assistant supports the delivery of customer marketing activity that drives business growth, strengthens local brand awareness, improves customer experience and supports branch teams across the Alina network.

The role coordinates marketing activity for new and existing branches, provides day-to-day support for branch marketing initiatives, manages marketing administration and reporting, and helps deliver local campaigns, training and customer engagement programmes.

The role is highly collaborative, working closely with the Digital Marketing Team, Branch Managers, Operations, and Recruitment to ensure marketing activity is delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Branch Marketing Support
  • Provide day-to-day marketing support for branch managers across the network.
  • Coordinate marketing activity for new branch openings and newly appointed Branch Managers.
  • Support the delivery of pre-launch, launch and post-launch marketing activity.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns to support branch growth and community engagement.
  • Coordinate requests from branches and ensure marketing activity is delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain marketing resources, toolkits and branch guidance materials.
  • Marketing Training Support
  • Coordinate the Customer Marketing training programme.
  • Issue training enrolments and monitor completion.
  • Maintain training records and reporting.
  • Assist with the development and updating of online training materials, videos and reference guides.
  • Support Branch Managers with marketing system queries and training requests.
  • Sales Support
  • Support administration of the new business system (Bigin), including user set-up.
  • Assist with dashboard updates and reporting.
  • Monitor new client notifications and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support internal communications relating to sales best practice.
  • Help maintain sales support materials and customer journey documentation.
  • Customer Reviews and Reputation
  • Coordinate the customer review programme across Google, Trustpilot and homecare. co. uk.
  • Support Branch Managers in requesting and responding to customer reviews.
  • Track review performance and produce monthly reporting.
  • Assist with updating branch profiles and online listings.
  • Support the creation of customer testimonials and case studies.
  • Local Advertising and Campaign Delivery
  • Research local advertising opportunities for branches.
  • Coordinate bookings for magazines, community publications, radio and other local media.
  • Liaise with suppliers to arrange artwork, deadlines and campaign delivery.
  • Support the creation of editorial content where appropriate.
  • Process marketing invoices and maintain advertising records.
  • Assist with campaign reporting and evaluation.
  • Local Connections Programme
  • Support administration and coordination of the Local Connections programme.
  • Assist branches with system queries and programme activity.
  • Work with Digital Marketing colleagues to develop local marketing content.
  • Produce reports on local activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategic Partnerships Support
  • Coordinate marketing collateral for partnership activity.
  • Support the launch and ongoing promotion of partnership initiatives.
  • Assist with internal communications relating to partnership campaigns.
  • Marketing Administration
  • Maintain marketing trackers, project plans and activity schedules.
  • Coordinate marketing assets and ensure brand consistency.
  • Support the Customer Marketing Manager with projects, events and business initiatives as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience coordinating projects or campaigns would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn new marketing systems and technology.
