Your key responsibilities:
- Safely shunting and manoeuvring trailers and vehicles within the yard
- Operating heavy-duty vehicles in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with loading and unloading where necessary, supporting warehouse operations
- Conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting any defects or issues promptly
- Coordinating with yard staff and management to ensure efficient vehicle flow
- Maintaining clear communication via radio and written logs
- Adhering to all company and client policies for a safe working environment
What we need from you:
- ValidClass 1 licencewith a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Shunter Driver or similar role in logistics or transport
- Ability to work nights, 10pm – 7am, reliably and safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and team player attitude
