Our client in Swindon is looking for HGV Class 1 and 2 Drivers to work on Saturday or Sunday day approx. 6am. Ideal for those looking to pick up extra shifts for extra money or just build experience! This opportunity is currently an ongoing assignment, driving a mix of HGV1 and HGV2 vehicles depending on depot availability. You will be responsible for the delivery of parcels to relevant locations throughout the shift. The shift will consist of delivering pallets to a depot, and you will be responsible for using a pump truck and tail lift to make these deliveries.

NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS ACCEPTED. The role will be starting following successful assessment.

Requirements:

  • Hold Full UK Digi Cards
  • Good Knowledge of working time directive
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence
  • Good communication skills

Pay:

  • HGV1 £14.36
  • HGV2 £14.25
  • Rising after 12 weeks to HGV1 £15.11
  • HGV2 £15.00

Shift Pattern:

Every Sunday and Saturday (or every alternate weekend depending on your driver hours).

Duties:

  • You will be placed within General haulage.
  • All vehicle checks completed to ensure the vehicle is safe to use.
  • Driving in a safe, responsible manner on behalf of the client you are representing.
  • Follow driver working time directive at all times.
