Our client in Swindon is looking for Parcel sorters on an ongoing basis. There will be opportunities for ad-hoc workers throughout the week. The role will be starting immediately. You will be responsible for the sorting of parcels within a busy warehouse environment. This involves working on a line and ensuring parcels go into the correct location bins, then moving them to correct locations within the warehouse ready for delivery. Full training and induction will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Sorting parcels into relevant sections on a sorting line
- Working as a team to ensure parcels are allocated correctly
- Ensuring each section is equipped with the correct totes
- Moving cages around the warehouse for required locations
- Loading/unloading of vehicles when required
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Safety Shoes and Hi-Viz required for work
Pay
£12.71 per hour
Shift
Shifts start between 12:00 and 16:00 and finish around 22:00. Generally this is an 8.5-hour shift but may overrun due to priority work. You can work as few or many shifts as you like. The location is on a public transport route accessible from all areas of Swindon.
