Job Description:
Our client in Swindon is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers.
This opportunity is currently an ongoing assignment, with potential for permanent positions for reliable workers with a good work ethic.
NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS ACCEPTED.
The role will commence following a successful assessment.
Requirements:
- Hold Full UK Digi Cards
- Good knowledge of the Working Time Directive
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence
- Good communication skills, with potential for progression after 12 weeks
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday to Wednesday, starting at 23:59
- Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, starting at 23:59
- Monday to Thursday, starting at 23:59
Duties:
- Operate within general haulage
- Complete vehicle checks to ensure safety
- Drive responsibly on behalf of the client
- Adhere to driver working time regulations at all times
- Deliver parcels to various locations during the shift, including night deliveries of 13 pallets, three times per night, using pump trucks and tail lifts, for approximately 10 hours per day.
