Job Description:

Our client in Swindon is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers. This opportunity is currently an ongoing assignment, there will be permanent opportunities for workers that prove themselves to be reliable and have a good work ethic. NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS ACCEPTED.

The role will be starting following successful assessment

Requirements:

  • Hold Full UK Digi Cards
  • Good Knowledge of working time directive
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence

Pay:

  • Nights – 23:59 starts – per hours per hour after 12 weeks)

Shift Pattern:

  • 4/5 days between Sunday to Friday

Duties:

  • You will be placed within General haulage.
  • All vehicle checks completed to ensure the vehicle is safe to use
  • Driving in a safe, responsible manner on behalf of the client you are representing.
  • Follow driver working time directive at all times.
  • You will be responsible for the delivery of parcels to relevant locations throughout the shift. On days, you will drop to 4-5 locations of parcel bags before collecting pallets to deliver back to the depot.
  • Standard 8 hour days, handballing parcel bags and using a pump truck to manually load pallets onto the vehicle (tail lift included). Night shift will compose of delivering 13 pallets to a location, 3 times per night. You will be responsible for using a pump truck and tail lift to make these deliveries. 10 hours per day.
