Aligra are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy transport operation in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for trunk runs, no handball, and a clean, straightforward role with excellent work-life balance.
- Driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and professionally
- Completing trunk runs between depots and distribution centres
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately
- Complying with all UK driving laws, tachograph rules and site procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service and road safety at all times
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- A professional, reliable and punctual attitude
- Good communication skills and a strong focus on safety
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Day and night shifts available
- Trunk runs only – no multi-drop
- No handball / no loading
- Ongoing work with a respected logistics client
