Job Description
Our client in Gloucester is looking for Parcel sorters on an ongoing basis. There will be opportunities for ad-hoc workers throughout the week. Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK's leading logistics companies. Whilst we work across all industries, we specialise in recruitment and talent management for the Automotive & Engineering, Driving & Industrial, Hospitality and Professional & Executive sectors.
- Sorting parcels into relevant sections on a sorting line
- Working as a team to ensure parcels are allocated correctly
- Ensuring each section is equipped with the correct totes
- Moving cages and pallets to correct locations in the warehouse
- Loading/unloading of vehicles when required
- You will be responsible for the sorting of parcels within a busy warehouse environment. This will involve working on a line and ensuring parcels go into the correct location bins. These will then be required to be moved to correct locations within the warehouse ready for delivery.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Safety Shoes and Hi-Viz required for work
- Full Training and induction will be provided
Shifts Sunday to Friday Shifts - Starts at 23:59 - This location is not currently on a public transport route so own transport will be required.
