Job Description

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Automotive Repair Technician

Reports to: Operations Manager

Purpose of Role:

To deliver a best-in-class motor repair service to customers, providing expert technical repair services to accident-damaged vehicles while creating a customer-focused culture.

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary: £41,500 Bonus (uncapped)
  • First two-month bonus Guarantee = £600.00
  • 22 days holiday Bank Holiday
  • Company = 6% pension contribution/ employee = 2% (or employee can opt out)
  • 4x annual salary life insurance

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver high-quality repairs to meet business targets and customer volumes
  • Provide an effortless customer experience, treating every customer with exceptional service
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and business partners to achieve business objectives
  • Contribute to the delivery of finance and commercial targets, controlling costs and minimizing waste

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform multi-skilled vehicle body repairs (paint, panel, and MET)
  • Manage own time effectively to meet productivity and attendance targets
  • Ensure accurate and timely feedback to the customer services team
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for health and safety procedures
  • Contribute to a proactive resource plan, adhering to budgeted annual leave and attendance

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in multi-skilled vehicle body repair
  • BS 10125 or minimum NVQ Level 3 in specific department competence/s
  • ATA cosmetic accreditation (preferred)
  • Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
