Job Description
Job Title: Multi-Skilled Automotive Repair Technician
Reports to: Operations Manager
Purpose of Role:
To deliver a best-in-class motor repair service to customers, providing expert technical repair services to accident-damaged vehicles while creating a customer-focused culture.
What We Offer:
- Basic salary: £41,500 Bonus (uncapped)
- First two-month bonus Guarantee = £600.00
- 22 days holiday Bank Holiday
- Company = 6% pension contribution/ employee = 2% (or employee can opt out)
- 4x annual salary life insurance
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver high-quality repairs to meet business targets and customer volumes
- Provide an effortless customer experience, treating every customer with exceptional service
- Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and business partners to achieve business objectives
- Contribute to the delivery of finance and commercial targets, controlling costs and minimizing waste
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform multi-skilled vehicle body repairs (paint, panel, and MET)
- Manage own time effectively to meet productivity and attendance targets
- Ensure accurate and timely feedback to the customer services team
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for health and safety procedures
- Contribute to a proactive resource plan, adhering to budgeted annual leave and attendance
Requirements:
- Previous experience in multi-skilled vehicle body repair
- BS 10125 or minimum NVQ Level 3 in specific department competence/s
- ATA cosmetic accreditation (preferred)
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
