Pay & Shifts:

  • From £14.82 per hour (£592 per week)
  • Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Shift flexibility initially required due to training

Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures, including CCPs and GMPs
  • Carrying out start-up checks such as machine and temperature verification and documentation
  • Following production records and recipes with attention to quality control
  • Ensuring accurate filling, capping, storage, and stock rotation
  • Operating authorised machinery safely and maintaining clean work areas
  • Assisting with weekly clean downs, stock takes, and supporting other departments
  • Reporting any food safety concerns or machinery issues promptly

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 2 HACCP food safety training (or above), including allergen awareness
  • Experience in a food production or cook role within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
