Job Description:
Our client based in Thatcham is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Ideally, candidates who hold an ADR Certificate (2 to 6) are preferred, but it is not essential for the role.
New Pass ADR Drivers are encouraged to apply!
Shift:
- Monday to Friday
- Start at 05:00am or 06:00am
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled deliveries and collections safely and on time
- Ensure loads are secured and comply with transport regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Follow health & safety procedures, company policies, and road laws
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions
- Transport goods in line with ADR guidelines where applicable
The right candidate will:
- Have no more than 6 points on their license
- Hold an ADR Certificate (2 to 6)
- Have at least 1 year of experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- Possess valid CPC and Tachograph certification
- Be familiar with EU driving laws and regulations
