We are actively looking for a dedicated and skilled Welder to join our client in Calne who specialises in sheet metal fabricating and CNC machining. Our client is looking for a Welder to join them on a long-term basis, with the view to a permanent contract. The company boasts a fantastic length of service from their staff, with new contracts coming on-board supporting their growth.

Key Duties:

  • Performing welding tasks (both TIG and MIG) with confidence and precision.
  • Operate workshop machinery, including press brakes, guillotines, rolls, and bandsaws.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time, to the required standard, and in line with client specifications.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with sheet metal work.
  • Strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of an engineering/fabrication workshop.
  • Proficient in TIG and MIG welding stainless steel and other metals.
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations and practices.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, teamwork, punctuality, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Pay: Pay between £15.00 – £18.00 per hour, dependent on experience

Shifts: Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 17:30
