Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coaching warehouse operatives daily
- Deputising for the Shift Manager when required
- Ensuring all tasks are performed accurately and safely
- Liaising between departments to maintain smooth operations
- Supervising, guiding and motivating team leaders to help colleagues work together and ensure they deliver good customer service
- Ensuring the staff are happy so the business can run smoothly, organising and delegating their workload as well as monitoring them to make sure it’s done correctly
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience leading teams in a logistics environment
- Strong communication skills and IT knowledge (Excel preferred)
- Experience in WMS
- Commitment to quality and safe working practices
